Here’s what worked – and what didn’t
Mark and Paula were fabulous hosts! ! The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked to order. The beautifully tranquil setting with fields and sheep was simply enchanting.
Accessing local amenities required a bit of a drive, which may not suit everyone’s preferences.

Heaps of sheep outside, sweet as waking up to that! But the mattress was a bit hard for my back. Breakfast was a real treat though!

i almost gave a good review for this place, but the shower was slow to run away and mattress was, frankly, a torture device for my delicate frame. i woudl ve been pleasantly surprised by a complimentary gesture, as i clearly deserve it, yet here we are, just like every other guest, how quaint! !

The lovely garden area, despite the chilly weather during my stay, has a charm that enhances the experience, creating a nice ambiance. The mattress was decent enough for a couple of nights, and the shower was enjoyable, providing a nice spot to kick back after a long day.
The mattress could be a real challenge if you've got sensitive bones. I encountered a slow-draining shower, which was a bit of a pain after a long day of exploring. And while everything else was fine, I found myself longing for a bit more comfort in that area overall.
